During the ten days of the festival, six days are allocated to this category.

To participate, the fisherman must obtain their participation tickets, which gives access to a day of fishing and entitles to register three (3) catches.

For each walleye, the points are administered according to the weight (one hundredth of a pound) and the length (to the thousandth of an inch) It is mandatory for the walleye to adopt a natural swimming position within one minute of the release.

All prizes are drawn at random with the exception of the grand prize for the biggest prize of the amateur category, a PRINCECRAFT boat valued at about 40 000 $ plus taxes.

Additional prizes are randomly awarded to women,children (18 and under) and elders (55 and over) who participate in the amateur category.

Each entry in the PRINCECRAFT category entitles you to an entry ticket in the James Bay category.

A place for woman!

By participating in PRINCECRAFT, women can not only win the prizes awarded in this category, but are eligible for other prizes!

A place for the young!

By participating in PRINCECRAFT, young people under the age of 18 can not only win the prizes awarded in this category but are also eligible for other prizes! The prizes will be randomly drawn by the winners based on randomly picked positions from 1 to 200 per ticket (sponsored by Nexolia). List of prizes :

❖ 3rd prize = 375$

❖ 4th prize = 225 $

❖ 5th prize = 125$

Elders

By participating in the PRINCECRAFT category, adults aged 55 and over can not only win awards but are also eligible for a draw. A position will be randomly drawn among the entries between 1 and 200.
The sponsorship from Home Hardware is worth 500$.
This category is complementary to the Princecraft category and the same rules apply.

PRO-VIP category

The PRO-VIP competition takes place during the last two days of the festival. It is a tournament with teams of up to 3 people.

Participants have 7 hours each day to register a maximum of 4 walleye. For each walleye, the points are administered according to the weight (one hundredth of a pound) and the length (to the thousandth of an inch) It is mandatory for the walleye to adopt a natural swimming position within one minute of the release.

Time also plays a key role, the earlier the catch is recorded, the higher the score.

For each fishing day, the team with the biggest walleye automatically earns $ 500.

Family Category

This day is not part of the other aspects of the tournament: Princecraft Amateur, Women's Component, Youth Component, Bel-Age Component and the Challenge Component. This component does not give any rights to the prizes for these components (boats, bursaries and etc.)

Come live with your family a day of fishing. Initiate your little ones, your teenagers or just another member of your family to fishing and come and share precious moment with them.

The family fishing tournament takes place on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019. It is a question of registering your boat regardless of the number of fishermen on board respecting the capacity of the boat. Maximum of three catches by boat while respecting the regulations in force for sport fishing in Quebec zone 17. Come and have fun with your family and get a chance to win some scholarships and prizes.

Challenge Category

This day is not part of the other aspects of the tournament: Princecraft amateur component, Women's component, Youth component, Bel-age component and Family component. This component does not give any rights to the prizes for these components (boats, bursaries and etc.)

This unfolds Tuesday, July 2nd. Fishermen come challenge yourself or with friends while having fun all day from nine to four o'clock. Maximum of two live captures per ticket. The score will be determined according to the two weight and length catches.
